Daily Dollfaces

OMG!Paris Hilton and Kevin Federline would be the best "celebrity" coupling ever! My fingers are crossed that Pfed will get married in '08.

Good lord woman! Nicolette shows off her bikini body on the beach. Again. When you've got it, flaunt it.
Precious. Little Violet is all snug with her jester hat and soft blanket. Jennifer Garner is so pretty here. Cheekbones to die for.

Jenna Jameson looks like she has peg legs, don't you think? Scary skinny. Forget the breast implants, she needs to bulk up those legs before she cracks a shin.

Little Dakota Fanning is growing up right before my eyes! Here she is in a movie still.

Remember Caridee from America's Next Top Model? I love the color of her dress but her face looks different from when she was on the show.
Britney is doing the time honored traditional wiggle called the PeePee dance. Wearing her favorite boots and beat up weave, she is shopping at Virgin Megastore for cds. Please let her get it together this year. And for goodness sakes, get rid of the extensions.

Alba BabyWatch '08. I'm coveting her cute coat! I'd love to see her balloon up to two hundred pounds while she's pregnant. That's just the jealous girl in me talking.

Pamela Anderson with her Uggs and her son. I predict a divorce in her future. Just a hunch. Call me crazy.

Sienna Miller, so cute! Boyfriend, not so much.

Daily Dollfaces

When I was sticking my head out of the sunroof of my friends black Baretta circa 1988, belting out Achy BreakyHeart, I never imagined my kids would be so taken with Billy Ray's daughter, Miley Cyrus. Who woulda thunk it? I'm kidding, I never sang Achy Breaky Heart.

Who wore the plastic cap better- the leftover food? -OR-

Snoop Dogg?
The invitation said "Man purse optional but BLUE JEANS REQUIRED"
Out for a night of show tunes and girly drinks with Matt Damon and Robert Downey Jr.

When I have a fever my cheeks glow red like Kate Bosworth's.

Let's be clear people. Jennifer Aniston is NOT pregnant but she is on vacation with David Arquette and Courteney Cox. What is she reading? I bet its a self help book or something on astro-physics.

Giada DeLaurentiis is pregnant, yay for her! More importantly, the fabulous pale nail color she wears on her show is Bubble Bath by OPI.

Ever on her worst day, Gisele Bunchen looks 100 times better than me. *weep*

OMG! Gollum is roaming the streets of Los Angeles looking to spend money on oversize designer clothes and high heels.
So confusing! My mistake, it's only an Olsen twin.

Fergie looking rather curly. Do you know she is super duper tiny, like Nicole Richie size?

Why so sad girls? The Highschool Musical stars look so glum while they spend the day shopping, talking about Zac Efron's hair, discussing nude photos and nose jobs.

Christina Aguilera is almost to her due date!
I remember that last month of pregnancy, it's so uncomfortable and awful and you feel like a ripe pumpkin with legs. But Christina is looking good! Almost there!

New Smashbox Products

Yes! Smashbox has finally answered my prayers. I've been waiting for this, lighting candles and conducting all night vigils! The fabulous award winning primer that so nicely smooths away wrinkles and facial flaws prepping skin for foundation, has added an SPF 15! The only way I get daily sunscreen on my face is through my makeup so bravo to Smashbox for including it. Photo Finish also added "Dermaxyl, which has been proven in clinical trials to minimize the appearance of wrinkles."

It's the same terrific primer but... better!

What is better than a creamy eyeliner that lasts all day and doesn't fade? I don't know. It doesn't get any better! Smashbox for Petro Zillia Jet Set Cream Eyeliner is what you need to line those eyes and wing them out like the runway models. Of course this is what all the girls were wearing for the Petro Zillia show during Mercedes Benz fashion week. This long lasting eyeliner is limited edition so hurry up and get yours. A good portion of time, cream eyeliner is what I wear. Get yourself a good angled brush and you can get really close to your lash line.

I am searching high and low for the perfect pink lipstick. In fact, that will be a post in the near future. Until my in-depth analysis, check this pink lipstick out- a sleek, soft lipstick that was worn in the runway show for Petro Zillia. The color comes out hot pink but I lighten it up just a smidgen with a frosty gloss. Nice! The lipstick contains "vitamin E and Smashbox exclusive Sila-Silkā„¢ Technology" to keep your lips full and pouty all day long. Yes! I look exactly like a runway model from below my nose and above my chin only! This is pure PINK. It's a limited edtion so be sure not to miss out on it.

Smashbox is constantly coming up with new products and kits so be sure to check often to see what they have!

I love Petra Zillia's designs! Check it out here.

Master of the glowing face: Scott Barnes

If you love cream foundation then you should absolutely give this one a whirl. A modern and sleek compact houses the Cream Foundation which can be applied with fingertips, sponge or brush. This foundation blends seamlessly giving your skin an even tone. I like to dot it on then blend with a brush to give my face a flawless finish. This offers medium coverage but can be thinned with your moisturizer for a lighter look. Available in ten shades.

These modern squares of creme color look like pieces from a museum! Clear little compacts house creamy color for cheeks and lips. Flip it over and there is a round mirror. So sleek! These colors are concentrated, at least on my pale skin, so all you need is a dab of color, blended well for a rosy cheeked glow. Use on your mouth for matte pout. I like glossy lips so I just coat my lips with clear gloss and off I go.

Creme Color shades include:

BLOOM - pink (this one is my favorite!)

DELISH- perfect mauve

FLUSH - peach

LUSTER - pearl highlighter

NATIVE- medium mauve

SULTRY - dark mauve

SWAY- medium pink undertone

TOUCH- light beige

Eye Ice are cubes of loose color for the eyes. In case you haven't tried these before, they are addicting. In some light, they look one color but look again and you see a different hue. They are beautiful on eyes and give a multi-demensional look. Scott Barnes is introducing these jewel toned shades and here's the lowdown :

EMPRESS- Royal Purple

IMPERIAL GOLD- Soft Gold

VERSAILLES- White Stardust Glitter

MAJESTY - Chrome Grey

SERPENTINE - Burnished Bronze

Since the powder is loose, you need to dip your brush into the cube and gently tap on a tissue to get excess off. You can always build up the color. I've used these as eyeliners and shadows and using the Eye Ice over pencil eyeliner will give a glimmery, shimmery kind of look. These are PERFECT for a dressy evening out at Club Tenjune or where ever you like to party. Me, I wear these to my local Starbucks because that's as fancy as I get.

I want to mention Flossy Glossy lip glosses, these are the bomb! Lots of shine and they come in a variety of shades. Meow is the best and with the Creme Color on your cheeks? So hip and pretty.

VANITYMARK, The Lash mascara

I know you are going to love VANITYMARK's mascara called The Lash. It is not clumpy or thick, it doesn't run or wear off throughout the day. The brush is a nice size and tapers at the end to get those tiny lashes in the corners. I like how each of my lower lashes gets a nice coating of mascara without me having to bend and twist to get all the lashes at once. Your lashes will look polished and evenly coated.

The mastermind behind VANITYMARK is makeup artist Brett Freedman. He knows what is needed to create the perfect face. Makeup artists work with cosmetics all the time so who better to develop products that will really work?

One coat darkens your lashes but the more you apply, the thicker and darker your lashes get. The result is very pretty lashes, dark and long but not too spidery looking, not too theatrical. I love wearing this as a day-to-day mascara.

VANITYMARK has a complete lash kit for all your lash needs. You get The Lash mascara, a primer, eyelash curler and a brush/comb which works much better than separating eye lashes with a pin. Yes, I used to do that and breathed a sigh of relief when I didn't puncture my eyeball.

I can't wait to see what VANITYMARK comes out with next. I use my tweezers all the time and can't imagine using any others. I keep my eyebrow kit close at hand too so I can pretty up my overplucked eyebrows. I know whatever Brett introduces next, I will love. Check it out!

Angie is Numero Uno

Angelina Jolie has topped a Reuters poll of best celebrity humanitarians of 2007. Congrats! She "commanded the greatest public respect of all celebrity public do-gooders this year due to her work as a U.N. goodwill ambassador and as the adoptive mother tried to raise awareness of suffering in Africa."

Madonna was least respected! Didn't anyone see her fabulously toned yoga arms?
Mia Farrow, Don Cheadle, Brad Pitt "were praised for their advocacy on behalf of Sudan's war-torn Darfur region." For the full article, click here.

Daily Dollfaces

Gwen and Gavin are the cutest, hippest couple ever.
Britney shopped at Rite-Aid for her boys presents. Couldn't she have at least sprung for the Butterscotch Pony? Not to be confused with the Butterscotch Stallion.

Only one month to go and Halle will pop out her baby! I bet that child will be giving Shiloh a run for her money for the Cutest Baby title. I wish I didn't hear rumors that Halle wasn't nice. I want to like her, really I do.

Baby Bump watch! Let's check out Jessica Alba from every angle to see an inkling of a baby bump, real or imagined.

When I was little, I would wash and blow dry my Barbie doll's synthetic hair. The photo of Lindsay Lohan pretty much sums up what Barbie's hair looked like after a visit to my bathroom sink salon.

The real crime here is Mischa Barton's unflattering high waisted tapered pants! Where are the Fashion Police? Book her!

If I were ever pregnant again, I would take a page from Nicole Richie's book and wear all black with voluminous scarves.

Nicolette Sheridan has an awesome figure! She's in her forties and looking fantastic. I have to remind myself that she never had a baby, has implants and probably employs a personal trainer to have that bod.

Shiloh is too cute! And Angelina is stunning. I read that someone was threatening to kidnap Shiloh and that's why she's always home with nannies and bodyguards and not outside with the other kids.

Ashlee Simpson is defintely the cuter and less annoying Simpson sister. I think she's carrying an Olsen twin in her enormous black purse. Is her mom carrying a trash bag?

Nail Care with Nail-Aid

I suffer from broken, split, thin nails all year long. Sometimes they flake off like layers of an archaeological dig. Right now I have cracked, dry and painful cuticles that require Nail-Aid's Cuticle Care. This product deeply moisturizes cuticles and hangnails while also stimulating nail growth. You simply paint this on and let it dry, it takes seconds. Cuticle Care contains a blend of oils to really soften up the nail beds.

There have been many times when I could have used Clear Liquid Bandage for broken nails. I keep my nails super short but sometimes my nails will split low and all I can do is dab Crazy Glue on there and pray it works. Now I have this Liquid Bandage which creates a protective seal on the nail. It dries quickly so you can be typing or knitting or whatever else you do where a broken nail would bring you down.

I know a lot of people will LOVE Grow Tougher. It will help nails grow and also keep them hard and smooth. If you ever have experienced nails that flake and peel, you will appreciate this product. Grow Tougher boasts the ability to give you longer nails in only five days. What I like best about this product is that it fills in the ridges. What causes those ridges anyway?

You must check out all that Nail-Aid has to offer. Because I don't have the time to get my nails professionally done every week, products like these are a necessity for me. Every time I've gotten a manicure, I sit and think about all that needs to be done at home. This way, I have products at my fingertips (literally) to keep my nails looking strong and pretty. Check out Nail-Aid here

Cold Weather Skin Care with Skin Free

Cold weather can sometimes be brutally painful.

I received some Skin Free products recently and am excited to let you know about this brand. Skin Free features items such as Extra Moisturizing Soap with a rich, buttery formula to soften skin. Ideal for infants and those who must use products for sensitive skin.

The Niaouli Butter Stick will get rid of rough patches of skin like heels, knees and elbows. This push-up stick is so easy and mess-free to use. It contains Olive, Sweet Almond, Cocoa Butter and Shea in a soy base. I've been applying it to my rough heels which always seem to need an extra bit of moisture. As soon as I get out of my super hot shower (which saps moisture from skin, I know!) I spray on the After Shower Moisture Spritz. This product contains a blend of oils and Vitamin E which are emollient and soak right into skin without an oily residue.

I keep the Super Moisture Body Balm next to my bed so I can apply right before I fall alseep. My hands are so dry and since they are always in water- doing dishes and cleaning- I need constant, round the clock lotion on my hands. The Body Balm is made from rich butters and natural oils. If I had thin cotton gloves, I would apply this product before bed and wear my gloves all night for deep penetrating moisture.

I highly recommend Skin Free, especially this time of year when cold season peaks and your hands and body are as dry and bumpy as sandpaper. Please head to their site to learn more.
I can't wait to see what Skin Free comes out with next. I just love finding gems like this brand!

Ferro Cosmetics

For those of you who can't get enough of mineral makeup, I have a new brand for you! Ferro Cosmetics is available in colors to suit every skin tone. Ferro is ideal for sensitive skin and their products will not clog pores or cause breakouts. Because the products are concentrated, a little goes a long way! The makeup also lasts all day long, frequent touch ups are not necessary.

I had the opportunity to sample what Ferro has to offer. The bronzer, face powder, eye shadow and blush stayed on withouth having to be reapplied which I appreciated because I don't like having to touch up my makeup- I feel like Im piling it on but not with Ferro. The Ultimate Foundation, which was applied with a large brush, made my skin look very clear and even. My favorite item was the Eye Candy which can be used with a tiny brush as an eyeliner, or with a larger brush as an eyeshadow. I am guessing that you could even smudge a little into your eye brows if you desired.

For those of you mineral makeup addicts out there, I want to send you over to the very user friendly Ferro website. Look at the Blueberry Mist Eye Candy- doesn't it look delicious?
