Master of the glowing face: Scott Barnes

If you love cream foundation then you should absolutely give this one a whirl. A modern and sleek compact houses the Cream Foundation which can be applied with fingertips, sponge or brush. This foundation blends seamlessly giving your skin an even tone. I like to dot it on then blend with a brush to give my face a flawless finish. This offers medium coverage but can be thinned with your moisturizer for a lighter look. Available in ten shades.

These modern squares of creme color look like pieces from a museum! Clear little compacts house creamy color for cheeks and lips. Flip it over and there is a round mirror. So sleek! These colors are concentrated, at least on my pale skin, so all you need is a dab of color, blended well for a rosy cheeked glow. Use on your mouth for matte pout. I like glossy lips so I just coat my lips with clear gloss and off I go.

Since the powder is loose, you need to dip your brush into the cube and gently tap on a tissue to get excess off. You can always build up the color. I've used these as eyeliners and shadows and using the Eye Ice over pencil eyeliner will give a glimmery, shimmery kind of look. These are PERFECT for a dressy evening out at Club Tenjune or where ever you like to party. Me, I wear these to my local Starbucks because that's as fancy as I get.

I want to mention Flossy Glossy lip glosses, these are the bomb! Lots of shine and they come in a variety of shades. Meow is the best and with the Creme Color on your cheeks? So hip and pretty.

Gwen and Gavin are the cutest, hippest couple ever.
Britney shopped at Rite-Aid for her boys presents. Couldn't she have at least sprung for the Butterscotch Pony? Not to be confused with the Butterscotch Stallion.

Only one month to go and Halle will pop out her baby! I bet that child will be giving Shiloh a run for her money for the Cutest Baby title. I wish I didn't hear rumors that Halle wasn't nice. I want to like her, really I do.

Baby Bump watch! Let's check out Jessica Alba from every angle to see an inkling of a baby bump, real or imagined.

When I was little, I would wash and blow dry my Barbie doll's synthetic hair. The photo of Lindsay Lohan pretty much sums up what Barbie's hair looked like after a visit to my bathroom sink salon.

The real crime here is Mischa Barton's unflattering high waisted tapered pants! Where are the Fashion Police? Book her!

If I were ever pregnant again, I would take a page from Nicole Richie's book and wear all black with voluminous scarves.

Nicolette Sheridan has an awesome figure! She's in her forties and looking fantastic. I have to remind myself that she never had a baby, has implants and probably employs a personal trainer to have that bod.

Shiloh is too cute! And Angelina is stunning. I read that someone was threatening to kidnap Shiloh and that's why she's always home with nannies and bodyguards and not outside with the other kids.

Ashlee Simpson is defintely the cuter and less annoying Simpson sister. I think she's carrying an Olsen twin in her enormous black purse. Is her mom carrying a trash bag?

Nail Care with Nail-Aid

I suffer from broken, split, thin nails all year long. Sometimes they flake off like layers of an archaeological dig. Right now I have cracked, dry and painful cuticles that require Nail-Aid's Cuticle Care. This product deeply moisturizes cuticles and hangnails while also stimulating nail growth. Cold Weather Skin Care with Skin Free

Cold weather can sometimes be brutally painful.

I received some Skin Free products recently and am excited to let you know about this brand. Skin Free features items such as Extra Moisturizing Soap with a rich, buttery formula to soften skin. Ideal for infants and those who must use products for sensitive skin.



The Niaouli Butter Stick will get rid of rough patches of skin like heels, knees and elbows. This push-up stick is so easy and mess-free to use. It contains Olive, Sweet Almond, Cocoa Butter and Shea in a soy base. I've been applying it to my rough heels which always seem to need an extra bit of moisture. As soon as I get out of my super hot shower (which saps moisture from skin, I know!) I spray on the After Shower Moisture Spritz. This product contains a blend of oils and Vitamin E which are emollient and soak right into skin without an oily residue.



I keep the Super Moisture Body Balm next to my bed so I can apply right before I fall alseep. My hands are so dry and since they are always in water- doing dishes and cleaning- I need constant, round the clock lotion on my hands. The Body Balm is made from rich butters and natural oils. If I had thin cotton gloves, I would apply this product before bed and wear my gloves all night for deep penetrating moisture.

Ferro Cosmetics

For those of you who can't get enough of mineral makeup, I have a new brand for you! Ferro Cosmetics is available in colors to suit every skin tone. Ferro is ideal for sensitive skin and their products will not clog pores or cause breakouts. Because the products are concentrated, a little goes a long way! The makeup also lasts all day long, frequent touch ups are not necessary.

I had the opportunity to sample what Ferro has to offer. The bronzer, face powder, eye shadow and blush stayed on withouth having to be reapplied which I appreciated because I don't like having to touch up my makeup- I feel like Im piling it on but not with Ferro. The Ultimate Foundation, which was applied with a large brush, made my skin look very clear and even. My favorite item was the Eye Candy which can be used with a tiny brush as an eyeliner, or with a larger brush as an eyeshadow. I am guessing that you could even smudge a little into your eye brows if you desired.
