Bronzing after the summer...

I know you packed away your white shoes on Labor Day to avoid the awful fashion faux pas of whites after summer. But here's something you can carry into the fall: bronzed skin. Or at least use bronzer mixed with peach blush for a glow that will make you look healthy and glowing well into the autumn weather- which I personally can't wait for. I love using a cheek stain as a base and then a hint of bronzer over it. Here are some products to look for next time the urge to shop for cosmetics hits you:

By Terry VIP Bronze-Expert Sun Glow Perfecting Brush ($48) at http://www.sephora.com/
Benefit: Bronzer in the form of a foundation
This one-step foundation bronzer provides an instant summer glow with natural pigments for a just-stepped-off-the-beach result. The featherweight and ultra-moisturizing texture feels like summer cashmere against the skin – a comfortable, non-sticky and non-comedogenic formula with a long-lasting, matte finish. With new click and sweep technology, touch-ups are a breeze, anytime, anywhere.

Stila Sun SPF 15 ($28.00) at http://www.stilacosmetics.com/
Benefit: Radiant bronze glow, with the added daily sun protection of SPF 15
Capture the radiant glow of the sun without ever catching a ray. Stila's best-selling bronzer is now reformulated with SPF 15 for daily sun protection. Dust this light shimmering formula on the nose, cheeks, forehead, even the décolleté, whenever you want to feel like you've been blessed by the sun. Sunbathing not required.

DuWop BronzeRush
Benefit: A pop of pink cream blush for a contoured glow.
Makeup artists swear by a combination of pink and bronze tones when creating a sculpted face- and this palette contains both velvety smooth powder bronzer for a warm, healthy glow and a sheer, gel-based translucent blush for a pop of color. Use the bronzer on cheekbones, brow bones and down the bridge of the nose, and rub the gel blush on the apples of the cheeks, for a defined and bright complexion.

This first-to-market Mineral Wear™ Talc-Free Illuminating Veil™ bathes skin in minerals, providing the look of a soft, natural bronzed glow for the ultimate “finishing touch” to your makeup. This extremely lightweight powder glides on for a healthy, luminous finish and features a minimalist talc-free formula ideal for the most sensitive or breakout prone skin. The gentle formula allows skin to breathe and can help to minimize the risk of irritation and breakout.
