First we need to address the shorty shorts that Natalie Portman's boyfriend is wearing. Who does he think he is, Borat? Next up, dude.. Can't a couple take a vacay in Israel without having photographers around? Guess not.

Kate Hudson and her son. He reminds me of Celine Dion's son. They must go to the same hairdresser.

Katie Holmes is in full robot mode. Empty eyes, pale skin, she needs a tune up. Beep beep.

I don't watch the Gossip Girls show but I do think Blake Lively is super cute. I'd ditch the boots if I were her.

This is from the premiere of the Sex and the City movie. There are tons of pics floating in cyber space. I posted this particular one because I cannot get over how Better Midler's daughter looks exactly like her! It's uncanny! Twins!

Tina Fey and her daughter, Alice. I'm not who that raven haired beauty is though.

I am so tempted to get my hair colored reddish like Rose McGowan's.
What's she been up to?

Jake and Reese. Do I hear wedding bells? There's something about him...that I like. She's very cute. Nice couple. She looks pregnant. That's why empire waist dresses are a no no.

Pammy! Lose the pin. Reminds me of the 1980's when we'd have those plastic clips on shirts. There was some weird stuff going on during that decade.

OH MY GOODNESS. BREAKING NEWS!
It's...Victoria Beckham and she's, *gasp* she's...not wearing shoes! I'm shocked that her feet aren't like a Barbie dolls, you know stuck in the high heels position permanently.

Michelle Williams looks etheral while Catherine Keener's ginormous bell sleeves conceal an artfully hidden meatball sandwich.

Those are a lot of feathers! Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos make a stunning couple.

Jessica Alba looks thrilled and happy as usual. Would it be so wrong to smile?

Fergie! I have those pants in vivid yellow.

I just read something about how Christina prefers to be out partying at night than to be home with son, Max. Just wait, she's going to never want to be home when he gets older. Terrible two's? Honey, it only gets tougher!

Summer goodness

Thymes Gardener

Voluspa

For me summer time is hot days, cool nights, beaches and bbq's. Its working in the yard and tending to my rose bushes. Flowers and dirt and feeling the earth between my fingers. And here are two different products which embrace that summer feeling- Thymes Gardener collection and Voluspa Candles.

Thymes is one of my favorite brands. High on quality plus amazing scents and a host of wonderful products to chose from, you can't go wrong with Thymes. The Gardener collection features a sink set of Purifying Hand Wash and Soothing Hand Lotion which comes in a neat little caddy with a nail brush. The scent is a light lemon-citrus. I can't explain it better than this: freshly clipped grass entwines with aromatic parsley, cool watercress, dewy moss, and a clarifying pinch of pink peppercorn.

Also noteworthy is the Deep Cleansing Hand Scrub. I don't wear gloves like I should in the yard and come inside with dirt encrusted nails and beat up hands. This scrub is perfect for those days, removing every trace of grime and leaving my hands fresh and clean and soft. I love scrubs anyway so even if my hands aren't caked with mud I still use it!

Lending to my whole summer theme is the Voluspa Candles. With combinations like Grapefruit Mint Cuttings and Pink Magnolia and Genoa Lemon Basil, you will feel like you've died and gone to scent heaven. The Genoa Lemon Basil is suited to the kitchen- with the crisp clean scent, its perfect to burn in the kitchen while you chop up a summer salad. Each of the scents offers a long burn time and fills the room with a delicious smell. There are lots of candles to choose from an one that I find intriguing is called Deep Lilac Muguet. You must go to the website and read all through the scents that Voluspa offers. You can find candles, incense and room sprays to suit your every mood and room.

AB Skincare by Dr. Craig Austin

AB Skincare comes to your from Dr. Craig Austin. The story goes like this- in treating patients using glycolic acid, he noticed fine lines, minor scars and sun spots disappeared. Pores shrank, acnes cleared up. So Dr. Austin created a line of glycolic pads for women to use at home. There are pads for hands, feet, face and acne plus anti-sun care. AB Sun features a SPF 45 with antioxidents and green tea and is a must use every day. I apply it every morning on my hands, neck and chest. Since it contains a moisturizing base, my skin stays soft and I can skip lotion.

I've been using the 10%Glycolic pads and loving them. I haven't experienced any irritation at all which I think is a normal concern when you are using an acid on your face. They are super easy to use, instead of your toner, just use the pre-moistened pads. I was afraid that my face might dry out with daily use of these pads but it hasn't. The pads for hands and feet are such a great idea. When you give yourself a manicure or a pedicure, use a pad over hands and feet to keep age spots and wrinkles at bay.

My skin looks really good, healthy and clear. These pads are just the right strength to treat normal skin. My face shows signs of aging but I am hopeful that with regular continued use of the 10% Glycolic Pads from ABSkincare, those fine lines will soon be a thing of the past. Treating skin without needles? No botox? No face lift? How can you not give it a whirl? For more information you can visit the AB Skincare website.

Here are some facts about Glycolic Acid that I found on various sites ...

*glycolic acid reacts with the upper layer of the epidermis, weakening the binding properties of the lipids that hold the dead skin cells together. This allows the outer skin to "dissolve" revealing the underlying skin.

*Glycolic acid is associated with sugar-crops and is isolated from sugarcane, sugar beets, pineapple, canteloupe, and unripe grapes.

*Glycolic Acid - AHA 's loosen the glue-like substances that hold the surface skin cells to each other, therefore allowing the dead skin to peel off. The skin underneath has a fresher, healthier look with a more even color and texture.

*Glycolic Acids work by stimulating new growth of skin and collagen by decreasing the bond that holds dead skin cells on the surface. This allows dead cells to be removed gradually, leaving behind a layer of smoother and softer skin.

Liv, I have mixed feelings about the leggings. Methinks it's time to pack them away. Fishnets would have looked good.

Ummm....not sure about the dress. But since its Natalie Portman, she can do no wrong. Her dresses for the Cannes Film festival cost more than what I spend on my clothes in twenty years.

Goodbye Cellulite (hopefully)

Is NIVEA Goodbye Cellulite the answer to our prayers?

I wish dimples would be considered sexy!

Even the glamorous and sexy celebs get cellulite. Comforting, no?

I didn't think I had cellulite too bad until we went on vacation and I stood in front of the full length mirror, strong lighting from above illuminting every dimple, ripple and wrinkle on my body. From then on, I vowed never to wear a bikini in public. I'm not joking, I go to the pool with board shorts or a wrap. I am baffled by how, a person like me who has been exercising without fail since I was fifteen years old, can have thighs that look like they belong on a sixty year old woman who has never seen a day of walking or weights in her life.

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

It's troubling when you take into consideration I haven't eaten a donut since 1998. Clearly I'm not alone because NIVEA has come out with Goodbye Cellulite products that include a gel, supplements and a box of patches that when placed on your thighs for 8 hours, will visibly reduce the appearance of those (not so) cute dimples.

"Good-bye Cellulite Patches contain the skin’s own substance and provide a continuous release of L-Carnitine to the skin." Sounds good to me. I've been using the gel for a few days now but haven't pulled out the big mirror to examine myself just yet. I like the gel because its cooling and fast absorbing. The patches look funny but I just wear sweats over them so my kids and husband don't ask me why I have bandages on my thighs. It will be interesting- and exciting- to see how well the gel works. If nothing else, rubbing the gel into the legs will stimulate circulation which is a good thing. Also, dry brushing legs with a body brush is recommended by health experts, so I've read in all my intense and ongoing study of all things health and beauty related. I'll do nearly anything to get rid of those lumps. The Nivea products have received good results and was featured on the Tyra Banks Show recently.

You can learn more on the Nivea website, there is a ton of information and health/exercise tips and you can order the supplements, gel and patches from Amazon.com. You don't even have to get up and leave the house! You can spend that time planning your exercise program while you wait for the Goodbye Cellulite products to be delivered.

Wonderful new things from Stila

One of the first ever department store cosmetic buys was a tube of gloss from Stila at Nordstrom in Garden State Plaza NJ. I felt so special buying a gloss that wasn't available at Drug Fair. Somewhere in the dregs of my makeup case, I still have that tube.

A while back I tried the eyeshadow in the shade of Kitten. Its the ideal blend of pink and light brown with a slight frost making it so flattering to everyone. Blue, green and brown eyes alike get a eye boosting pop of pale color from this shadow. Some brilliant person at Stila turned Kitten eyeshadow into the Silk Eye Shadow Wash which is a liquid to powder eye shadow. It feels soft and cool on your eyes and doesn't leave little eye powder flakes on your cheeks which is a huge plus.

Kitten is also available in a Silk Shimmer Gloss, a very silky lip gloss which makes your lips shimmer, again with that universally flattering shade. I love it alone or over a darker lipstick.

The Lip Shine Color with an SPF of 20 is another must for your spring collection. These lipsticks are sheer but shiny and contain vitamins A, C, and E to nurture and protect your lips. The color is so creamy with a bit of shimmer and all eight colors are very summery and pretty. I love the shade of Chelsea.

You can find Stila at Sephora.com or go to the Stila website for more information.

What an innovation- Spinlash

How do you like your eyelashes? If you enjoy a nicely coated lash with no clumps then you might want to give Spinlash a try. This interesting mascara applicator has a slowly spinning brush which at once curls and colors lashes. Its like a grown up toy for women who love cosmeetics.

It was fun trying it although it took a couple seconds longer than my usual swipe-three times- and- go application. This product can be used with your favorite mascara or the mascara that
comes in the package. The one that's included is great, a nice consistency and lasts all day long.

Spinlash is very accessible, I just saw it in Target the other day. The cost is around fifteen dollars. It's very inventive! Check out the website for more information.

Teri Hatcher at the American Idol finale. She's bringing out her newly lifted breasts for a night on the town.

I am so addicted to Top Chef! Padma, I want your job! Imagine tasting food all the time? I'd love it.
Minka, nice dress on the top but I'm not crazy about the ballooning bottom. Look at it this way, if you get dropped out of a plane you can parachute down with the skirt.

Er...yuck. Rumer's hat reminds me of those caps with the dreadlocks attached that you can buy in a trinket shop on any Caribbean island. Yah, mon.

Kristin Davis is always so ladylike, except for those racy photos that surfaced online not too long ago.
I am so excited for Marley and Me. Jen and Owen make a nice couple, no? He broke up with Kate Hudson so he's on the rebound. I keep thinking Jen and Dylan McDermott would make a nice couple. We need a Celebrity Matchmaker tv show.

Oooh, Amelia is a must see! If I could get a copy of that screenplay or get to be on set, I would be in heave. Hilary Swank will make an excellent Amelia Earhart. What dedication to lop off your locks and dye your eyebrows for a role. I'd wear a wig.
Always perfectly put together, Dita VonTeese.

Don't you wonder what she looks like without the glam makeup and dresses?
Dana Delaney, I'll always remember you as that fiesty nurse on China Beach. I loved that show.

It's not a conehead, its Cameron Diaz filming My Sisters Keeper. Don't worry, she's wearing a cap. She didn't shave her head. Cam's like me...too vain for that.

Harrison Ford and Calista looking nice at the movie premiere.

Thanks for showing us the cigarette lighter Britney. Well, some habits are hard to break, right? I haven't seen the pink wig in a while and I take that as a good sign.

Did these two rub their heads on balloons? I hope I look half as good when I'm their age. Sharon Stone and Madonna, botox twins.

Victoria's Secret offers more than sexy bras...

I finally wised up when my husband was caught paging through the Victoria's Secret catalogue. He was always saying, "What? I'm looking at it so I can buy something for you!" But after years of not buying me a single thing, I realize the motive behind the leisurely reading of the magazine. Well, Victoria's Secret is not all about scantily clad women with perfectly tanned and toned bodies, no its not.

VS offers a line of beauty products and hair care products that you will love. I adore the Diamond Collection, a line of sparkling lip glosses and glittery eye shadows and vibrantly glimmering powders. I like how when the sun shines or the light hits my lips, they seem to shimmer and shine. You cant go wrong with any shade because they are universally flattering.

All colors have a combination of a darker hue at the bottom, lightening up towards the top but with lots of little sparkles. The Diamond Lip Glimmer offers three shades: Champagne, Pink and Fiery Diamond.

Also noteworthy is the Diamond Luster Face powder. This formula gives your face a glow. Apply it after you are done with your foundation and primer and concealer. Its the last step for a radiant face. The Diamond Eye Duo features two colors in one palette, a soft shade and a dark one. This eye shadow is infused with real crushed diamonds, talk about eye catching! I love the Blue Diamond shades- an aqua blue paired with a sparkly chardonnay shade.

I had no idea that Victoria's Secret offered hair care supplies. I am very happy to report that the Shampoo and Conditioner work brilliantly together. The Balancing formula makes my hair soft and it smells wonderful. My drab locks have body! Volume!

The Natural Hold Hairspray keeps my hair very touchable, not hard at all. I've been using the Full Bodied Volumizing Spray before I blowdry so that my coif can expand to Amy Winehouse proportions. Before I leave the house, I use a quick spray of the Brilliant Shine Mist so I have a little shine on my blonde locks. The prices on the haircare are very reasonable and I like the makeup up quite a lot too. Who knew Victoria's Secret had more to do with makeup and hair than laced trimmed g-strings?

Alison Raffaele Tips and Tricks plus New Foundation

I love Alison Raffaele's products. I liked them before and I'm a huge fan now that she has redone her products with the "Frutta di Vita antioxidant complex." I use the Primer every day, it really smooths the skin and preps it for foundation.

I've been using her Reality Base foundation and it blends well and offers a medium coverage. Her foundation, primer, powder...everything is tops. I highly recommend anything from Alison Raffaele, I know you will love it. I'm anxiously awaiting more products from this line and want her to start producing blushes and eyeliners and everything else. Until then, I'm directing you towards her site and also posting some tips from Alison.

Alison's Tips for a Flawless, Acne Free Face:

1. Remove your makeup thoroughly, but without drying your skin. This is best done by using an emulsifying cleanser like Cetaphil first, then following up with your usual cleanser. The emulsifying step dissolves the ingredients that hold the makeup to your skin, and then the surfactants in your foaming cleanser (which is what most women with oily skin prefer) lift them away.

2. Over drying the surface of your skin with acne medications will only make it harder to conceal your acne, because makeup cannot properly adhere to dead, flaking skin. If you’ve already done so, you can help remedy the situation by steaming your face for 5 minutes and then exfoliating with a rough washcloth. “Gommage” type masks that are rolled off the skin are also effective in this situation without being drying or harsh. To prevent the problem from happening again, try using a weaker strength of your medication or using it less often.

3. To create the most natural looking coverage, always start with your foundation to even out your skintone, and then layer your concealer (in a matching shade) on top where extra coverage is needed. Finish with a dusting of loose powder to set everything in place.

4. The idea that you can “cancel out” the redness of a blemish with a green color corrector makeup sounds great, but it simply doesn’t work. In fact, it is Physics 101: You cannot add something (green makeup) to something (a red blemish) and get nothing. The ONLY medium in which colors can be “canceled out” is in lighting – because light rays do not contain any matter. Instead, try a concealer a shade deeper – the extra pigment will help cover the redness without highlighting the problem.

Gorgeously Green

This is a fun and fabulous book called Gorgeously Green. The author has all kinds of tips for living "green." She writes about all natural beauty products and cosmetics which I enjoyed learning about. I posted an interview with Sophie on my Conversations With Famous Writers site so if you get a chance, read the book and check out the interview! I keep looking at the book because it inspires me to do more and conserve and save and teach the kids all about recycling and all that other good environmental stuff. Have a look!

Kristin Scott Thomas is looking regal and elegant in this very long gown. She's not around a whole lot. I loved her in the English Patient.

Molly Sims wears the hot color for the season, vivid yellow.

Kelly Ripa looks stunning here. I love the people staring in the background!

Still going strong, Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner. Does he have two cigarettes in his mouth? I would think these two would be into healthy food and fitness and no smoking. I cannot believe Heather is 46. Which fountain of youth is she drinking from?

Normally I love Sarah Jessica Parker's style but in this case, the top of the dress looks like a collection of used tissues.

Lovely...and then you scroll down to the gladiator heels. The Parade Of Ugly Shoes marches on!

Gwyneth's hair and makeup look fantastic.

Camel toe alert! Those pants are not flattering on most people. I'd need a girdle and a heavy duty Spanx to get away with wearing those things. You could have a lot of fun with baby oil and a slip n' slide while wearing the rubber leggings. Fergie's hair and makeup look terrific.

We can really see how big the bump is now! Clint Eastwood, although looking dapper, needs Crest White Strips and Angelina is gorgeous as usual. Its not fair that one person can be so genetically blessed. Does she ever wake up and feel ugly? Probably not.

Even Brad is admiring her bump. I almost said Wife but the two are not married. Yet.

Jessica Alba shows off her baby belly. Love the dress. I get the feeling she's not the most likeable girl in the world. I'm not sure we
would hang out if we knew each other.

Chanel's Must Have Nail Colors

I can't help but be reminded of Andy Warhol's famous artwork of Marilyn Monroe!
Look at these beautiful nail polishes from Chanel! How could you chose just one? I want them all. Chanel introduces their new Robertson Blvd. collection just in time for summer. If you have never painted your nails with Chanel polish, please go buy a bottle and experience the glossy tones, the opaque tint, the magical hues which turn your finger and toe nails into glorious shades of color. Here's the official information directly from Chanel:

This mini-collection of graphic, pop-art shades was inspired by the spirit of Robertson Boulevard itself, a young Hollywood hangout now famous for shopping sprees and see-and-be-seen lunch spots such as The Ivy. Just as Robertson offers a signature blend of trendiness and haute exclusivity, these nail colours are fresh, eclectic, fun — bright as a cloudless California day, and perfect for a destination where every shopper feels like a star. MELROSE A fun, hot pink destined to become spring’s must-have pedicure RODEO DRIVE A purple splash: girl power meets the power lunch L.A. SUNRISE A primary yellow as bright and cheerful as its name L.A. SUNSET A warm tangerine — just the thing for an afternoon shopping splurge.

I like it all-hair, dress, makeup but not so much the shoes.

Tori Spelling has gone through her pregnancy looking very chic!

Here is Johnny Depp's woman and son. I was going to point out that his shorts are really high waisted but then I recall how my kids like to dress themselves. When I see kids wearing weird things like pajamas and a fire hat with cowboy boots, I applaud the parents for letting the little ones express themselves.

How funny, my belt buckle says my name too but in diamonds. And bigger. Remember when prairie skirts were all the rage? I'm thinking it was back in the early 80's. Haven't worn one since.

I love these two crazy kids together, I do. I think they make a great couple.

Beautiful dress and accessories. Natalie Portman looks fantastic.
(when doesn't she look pretty?)

I have nothing to say about Juliette Lewis but I can come up with something about Mischa Barton. Her dress is kind of cool in an advant garde way but it does sort of look a picture of the interior of the human body. I see a heart, an aorta, veins, maybe an intestinal tract and a colon.

Jude Law's hair reminds me of a penninsula, jutting out into the ocean of his forehead.

I've stayed at hotels with bedspreads like this. Mischa Barton cleans up nicely and the color is beautiful.

I love the look of these knee high boots Lindsay Lohan is wearing. I tried to bid on a pair on ebay but lost. Which is probably for the best since Lindsay and Kate Moss can carry this off but I'd just look like the poor man's suburban Pocahontas.

I think we need to address the wonky boob and then move on. I've wanted implants forever but not if they turn out looking like a basketball on one side and a grapefruit on the other. I'd feel so uneven that I would probably walk with a limp. Anyway, do you think Christina ever goes out sans full face makeup?

I'm post this not because of the frilly oversize gift wrap of a bow on the shirt but because Victoria Beckham is almost smiling! Her face is cracking!

Tarte's Spring Fever

Because I love Tarte, I want to let you know about this Spring Fever kit available at Sephora.
Its a nice spring treat for yourself. The cheekstains are awesome and I love the Lip Sheers, I have two of my own that I use all the time.

Spring Fever includes: a mini Blushing Bride (0.17 oz), a mini Spring Fever SPF 15 Lip Sheer (0.098 oz), a Waterlilies Eyeliner (0.044 oz), a North Island Eyeshadow Duo (2 x 0.06 oz), and a Brush With Greatness double-ended eyeshadow brush.

I love it! I think it would be the perfect gift for a bride to give her bridesmaids - got that, Reese Witherspoon? I hear she's close to be engaged to Jake Gyllenhall.

Daily Dollfaces

Not due until August, Angelina shows off her huge bellyful of chidgins. Two girls! How does she only gain weight in her belly and boobs and no where else? She's going to be on bedrest come late June. That body cannot support the twins.

Hats like this aren't cute, sassy, fashionable, sexy or smart. Looks like the wind is blowing it off her head.

If you passed this lady on the street, you'd never imagine she was an award winning actress. Julia Roberts keeps it on the DL.

Not the most flattering angle for her legs. Victoria Beckham and her bodyguards here. She's shopping again? That's ALL she does. Girl, read a book! A what? Page through a magazine!

If the buttons strain or pop open, it usually means you need a bigger size. That's just a thought.

I love the big trash big in the photo! Jennifer is on her way to meet John Mayer for dinner. See, he thinks this is a casual summer romance but does she want more? This will keep me up tonight. I don't want her to suffer another broken heart. Let's set her up with someone...older, more mature...John Stamos?
Naomi Watts wears a see thru dress. She's so naturally pretty. I hope she shuns the botox and plastic surgery.

Perfection! You can't get much better looking than Natalie Portman.

Sandra Bullock at LAX. I thought when you reached a certain level of fame, you got to use a private jet? Her outfit is something I would wear. I always try to wear running shoes in case I need to break into a jog, clothes that won't burst into flames, pants that will allow me to kick back and relax and a scarf that doubles as a blanket.

What's gayer than Elton John as Ethel Merman wearing a sequined dress dancing to the tunes of Liberace? Clay Aiken with his frosted locks wearing hand made leather sandals and pressed jeans prancing down the street with a rhinestone trimmed cell phone!

Oh that little Miley Cyrus. She's being groomed by the same group who shaped Britney Spears's career. Red alert! OMG hot couple- lets get Miley and David Archuleta together!

I think this girl, Leighton Meister, looks like Julianne Moore. Besides that, her purse is eating her hand.

Julianne is one of the world's prettiest women. That being said, I hate this new trend of blazers. Everyone looks like a real estate agent.

Jennie Garth looks fabulous in this black ensemble. When in doubt, go for all black and you cant go wrong. Well, sometimes you can so you should keep it all simple.

See what I mean about black? Jennifer Aniston knows how to do it. Black sundress and flip flops. Can't mess that up.

Even with messy hair at the airport, Gisele looks fab. Thats why she gets paid the big bucks.
Again, no private jet?
I just wanted to show you that its not only vain Hollywood women who fall prey to the lure of botox. Christian Slater hasn't moved his forehead in years!

This dress is a cascade of gorgeousness.

Pretty jewelry and lovely makeup.

Cute outfit from head to toe. I'd like to see a movie with Blake Lively, Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson. They all remind me of each other,
like sisters. This is a couple that's been long overdue, Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse! Even match.com couldn't have done a better job setting these two up!

Daily Dollfaces

Sarah Jessica's hat is so ultra-hideous, I thought I would just add a few items and see if I could improve it.
Cheryl Ladd looks amazing so what did she have done? A slight face lift, just a tune-up plus injections and fillers.

Mandy Moore and her friend Ryan Adams, not to be confused with Bryan Adams. His orange hair troubles me.

When I see a floppy neck bow like this plus the plaid jacket and matching skirt, I can't help but think of an office worker who tucks pencils in her hair and cleans her nails with a paper clip. Salma Hayek is trying her best not to look like the hot mama we know she is.

Kristin Davis looks okay, Cynthia Nixon's neckline is extemely deep, Kim Cattrall's dress looks like she's smuggling a Nordstrom gift box in there, and we've gone over Sarah's tree topper of a hat. So what else is there?

Teri Hatcher looks super skinny, check out how thin her legs are! The word on the street is that she had her boobs done. I think she should have spent the money on gaining some weight.

Infamous Rachel Zoe, night of the living dead. She needs a nap and a dose of vitamin D.

Would you look at this photo and think she's seven months pregnant? YES. Nicole Kidman barely has a bump. She's going to pop out a kidney bean, not a full grown baby. She needs to borrow Katie Holmes's padded baby bump.

Hey that's lingerie, not a dress. Sometimes it gets confusing. Do I detect a pair of leggings underneath? Lindsay Lohan uses those things as a security blanket!
Not everyone can pull off the severe hairstyle that Jennifer Lopez is wearing, not even Jennifer. The blue eye shadow is too Linda Evans from Dynasty. I'm not sure of her whole ensemble. Her look is called "1988 night time soap opera vixen." I hope that fur is faux.

Cate Blanchett and her new little tiny baby. That jacket is hot!

So refined and elegant, no not the birdcage. I'm talking about Britney Spears. What can be more gorgeous than her greasy weave held back by a scrunchy, long sweatpants, a beer bloat and a wedgie pick? That is sophistication.

Why does Christina have scabs on both knees? Spending much time on the rug, hmmm? She needs a pair of Lindsay's padded Leggings!
Her husband looks excited to be there, like every other man that sits and waits for his wife to shop at the mall. You can spot them all over with the same bored, glazed expression on their faces.

Soliel Moon Frye's outfit is a crime! It's like a nun's starched shirt, a man's jacket and the bottom is a twin sheet folded and pinned to make some kind of skirt thing. Think of it this way, when she's done with her skirt she can use it to make her bed. That's a mom for you, always multi-tasking.

Oh please, Charlize Theron is always perfection! What can you say about her, she's too pretty?

I'm saying yes to YES to Carrots

I've seen the ads in magazines but never knew what the deal was with YES to Carrots. Well, here's the scoop. "YES To Carrots combines vitamins and minerals with juices from the 'orange color' produce groups and Dead Sea Mud. Dead Sea Mud has world renowned detoxifying properties which combined with our range of 26 minerals cleanse, detoxify and mineralize the skin naturally."

I suppose they couldn't very well call it YES to Dead Sea Mud, now could they? Not so appetizing. I was under the impression that YES to Carrots would smell like carrots which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. I imagined the lotions and potions would be the color of a pumpkin and have that health food feeling to them. So I was thrilled when I tried the Yes to Carrots Body Butter and found it as white as whipped cream and smelling as deliciously clean as a new baby. Every night I have been rubbing this decadent lotion all over my body after my shower. I can't get enough of the smell and my dry legs love the hydration.

I also tested the Pampering Hand and Nail Spa, a scrub and moisturizing treatment, all in one easy step. This soothes and revitalizes dry hands and cracked cuticles. A must-have in my bathroom! Ideal for feet too. I love the feeling of the scrub on my hands and they are so soft and clean when I'm done.

The Hair and Scalp Mud mask contains "extracts of carrot, pumpkin, orange & honey, rich with Beta-Carotene, Alpha-Carotene, Vitamin E." You are supposed to leave it on for a bit so the ingredients can soak in but I didn't have the time. I squeezed all the water from my hair and left it on for a good five minutes and yes, my hair was detangled, defrizzed and looked smoother. Plus the smell, like the Body Butter, is divine!

You know I never post a review on something I don't like so of course I enjoyed using these products. I'm very happy to have had the chance to try out Yes to Carrots which I first thought was like baby carrots in a jar. Luckily I was wrong. This is an affordable yet luxurious brand that you will want to try out!

Paris Hilton should really let loose and dress like a skank once in a while. Here she is, coming out of church.

Michelle Williams and her daughter Matilda. Every time I see a trailer for the new Batman movie, I think about Heath Ledger saying how demanding the role of the Joker was. Sad! That little girl is adorable.
Caught in the act of nearly canoodling! Remember all those pictures of a pensive Jennifer Aniston staring out into the ocean? And John Mayer, he's so poetic ..."candy lips and bubblegum tongue" from Your Body is a Wonderland? Brilliant. I bet they have long conversations about nothing and write each other haiku's. Now he's officially dated everyone in Hollywood.

Imagine being on a movie set with these two clowns? I bet they had constant burping and farting contests. Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher remind me of two enormous kids. I love Justin Timberlake's impression of Ashton on Saturday Night Live.

OMG! No wonder why Victoria Beckham always looks so grumpy, her feet have gone missing. I'd be pissed too!
Katie always has a vacant, glazed look in her eyes. Unfortunately, I don't think can get out of her binding contract at this point. Tom's tight pants and belt let me know he secretly loves country music. I always notice country singers wearing very tight jeans and belts.

It will be interesting to see what Shiloh looks like as she grows up. Will she be the most beautiful child we've ever seen? Will her inherited beauty blind us?
Raven Simone illustrates whats wrong with America, lazily using a segway instead of her own two feet. Can you imagine if we all used these things every time we needed to walk somewhere?I hope this is a picture from a movie and not how she gets around in real life. I saw security guards at the airport with these things and chuckled to myself.
I bet they travel with an entourage that stays out of camera range, don't you think? Gwen and Gavin with their son Kingston take in a day at the zoo. Gwen does a great job of looking cute while pregnant, always wearing those diaphanous dresses.

Its a shame Heidi Klum can't play on the beach with her kids without getting her photo taken. Oh well, thats the price you pay to be a celeb, right? I was reading that Heidi had her implants taken out and that she got a tummy tuck too.
Angelina and her daughters dressed in black are too sweet for words. Zahara has always been so cute and I imagine her to be spunky and sassy. Shiloh is the prettiest baby in Hollywood. I am amazed that Angie's skinny body can carry twins! Twin girls if the gossip is to be believed.
Lindsay Lohan finally debuts her line of streetwalker clothes! Haven't we been waiting for this moment for so long? Now I have an appropriate outfit for strolling the boulevard. Check out the chick with the knee pads sewn right into her leggings. She can get down on her knees-for gardening of course- with ease. Heavy eyeliner and bleached hair optional- but highly recommended!

Keira Knightley is stunningly gorgeous here, the bone structure and pouty lips, her beautiful dark brown eyes...all amazing. But then she opens her mouth and something weird happens. Like her teeth and jaw are all jacked up.

Jennie Garth is that you? Doesn't she remind you of every soccer mom you've ever seen on a Saturday morning? I can just imagine her going off to work part time at an office where low heeled pumps and knee length skirts are all the rage.

Jamie Lynn Spears looks thrilled to have her photo taken as she exits her Range Rover. I'd be embarrassed too, being caught driving a huge gas guzzler during this time. Get a hybrid, Jamie! Also, her face reminds me of Elvis.

Sarah Jessica usually looks terrific but not so much here. Who am I to judge? I'm wearing sweatpants and pimple cream.
Katie Price looks like she took a trip into a deep fryer and got poured into Linday Lohan's leggings on the way out. Her husband has a unique look all his own.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

to all the mom's who work hard for their families and take care of all the details making it look easy, the moms who keep it together on a daily basis without falling apart, who wipe noses and butts and shuttle their kids to school and soccer practice and back home for homework and dinner, for the single moms who really do it all, for the moms who are as beautiful inside as outside, to all the moms who read hello dollface...
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Philosophy's Supernatural

The Supernatural Lip Gloss provides a lovely minty essence, it moisturizes and hydrates not to mention this product gives your lips a shimmer. Soft, kissable lips are yours with this gloss. When I wore this last, I got compliments from my friends. I guess my lips looked super pouty! I love lip glosses of every texture and color. Sometimes I forget about lipsticks entirely. This gloss provides enough pigment and shine to wear all day long yet it remains natural looking. By the way, I am obsessed with the lip liner pencils from Philosophy. The smooth liners give you an excellent boundary for the gloss. Use the Supernatural lip liner with the gloss over it for the most perfect lips this side of Angelina Jolie.
One of the best concealers ever! Check out Philosophy's The Supernatural Airbrushed color Corrector. These three shades can be blended or used alone to touch up blemishes, under eye circles, discoloration. Ive used the middle shade around my eyes and then I dab eye cream on top and believe me, I look well rested even if I'm not. The other two shades I use for pimples and when I squeeze and pick pimples, I use it to touch up the scars and scabs. Gross but true. I give you the facts.

There are different shade palettes to suit various complexions. Click here for more information.

POP Smokey Rose Faux Croc Wallet

The POP Smokey Rose faux croc wallet is the best Mother's Day present that your cosmetics loving mother could ask for. If you haven't already bought her something, well, what are you waiting for? Head to Sephora stat and pick this up. Every woman will love this multi product case.

All the shades are especially coordinated for a beautifully put together look. The eyeshadows are finely milled and the glosses are shiny. Rosy color will put a natural flush in the cheeks. The case is really sleek and cool too.

From the photo it looks small but this product is a decent size! You get a brush and a sheet on how best to apply the products. It is a great gift for Mothers day, prom, graduation, for a bride to be, or just for no reason at all. Its available at Sephora.com and is a limited edition so hurry!

Clinique for Spring and Summer

Quick Eyes Cream Shadow was not what I expected at all. I thought it might be a bit heavy and creamy but alas, I was wrong. It's a feather light powder cream that lasts all day long. I love this because unlike regular eye shadows, this does not flake and you won't get drops of powder on your eye area when you apply it. I like the colors too- sparkling and light with a pearly finish. I apply this on my eyelid and then closely line my lashes with a dark color-black or brown- and finish with a few coats of my favorite mascara. It's the easiest way to make up your eyes in about two minutes.

Men get more skin cancer on their lips than women and its obvious why this happens. Because the ladies always wear lipgloss and lipstick. And Clinique's Long Last Glosswear contains an SPF15 for sun protection. This shiny lip product comes in some gorgeous summery shades like Bamboo Pink, Clearly Pink and Sunset. You need to take a peek at all the shades available because there is a gloss for every complexion and preference.

All the juicy colors are so pretty for this warm weather. My favorite look is shiny lips, a lightly done up eye and a slight tan.

Years and years ago, I mean like more than a decade ago, I decided to spend my babysitting money on a tube of Estee Lauder self tanning lotion. It didn't smell very good and my parents told me it looked like I had a dirty face. Can't a girl get a decent bottled tan? Back then, you know- the olden days- there were not many self tanners and manufacturers had not yet come up with a great lotion that didn't turn you a shade of pumpkin. Oh, how the times have changed and thank goodness.

I've tried some great self tanners and here's one that is spectacular. The Clinique Self-Sun, Touch of Bronze Moisturizing Body Lotion smells nice and works subtlety. You can layer the lotion for a darker tan but fear not you won't turn pumpkin, tangerine or the color of a circus peanut. This moisturizer contains a little self tanner so what you get is soft skin and a glow. Perfect!

Prescriptives Must Haves!

When I was newly married and very poor, I ripped a sample of Prescriptives foundation out of a magazine. It was a tiny bit of foundation on a card stuck in my magazine which at the time was probably Glamour. I loved the foundation so much that I went to the counter at Macys and forked over my cash on a bottle that I really couldn't afford. I fell in love with the way it lasted for many hours, evened out my skin, and was simply the most perfect foundation ever.

Recently I tested the Flawless Skin Total Protection makeup spf 15 which is another bottle worth splurging on. I can apply it, just a few dabs where needed, and the foundation blends nicely and lasts all day long. This light, oil free makeup won't clog your pores or look heavy on your skin. I can see why it's a bestseller.
Beyond Long Maximum Length Mascara is another splurge worthy item. I was so excited that the results were as amazing as I hoped when I read about this mascara. Truly, lashes do look super long without a clump in sight. From roots to end, lashes sweep dramatically up towards the eyebrows. I curled my lashes (using my beloved BillyB lash curler) and applied a few coats of the Beyond Long mascara. As I have mentioned countless times, I adore a big, long, voluminous lash. Yes, this is such a fabulous mascara! It does make lashes appear very long and although it's not a volumizing mascara, my lashes were coated to my satisfaction.

Let's embrace the cellulite! Wouldn't it be nice if dimply thighs were something to aim for and be proud of? I totally have to eat more fat, I really want my thighs to be lumpy this summer.

Those pants are so hot! I love a pleated front, high waisted khaki pant, don't you? So modern and current! Put these on the cover of Vogue.

Is that the remnants of self tanner under her jawline? What's tannish and platinum and shiny all over? Paris Hilton! I like the patterns and color's of Nicole Richie's outfit. Hey, remind what exactly did she do to become fodder for the paparazzi? Her pictures are all over the place from websites to gossip mags.

I'm going to give Hilary Duff an A for the top half of her outfit. I love the funky top and belt- but I am not a big fan of short skirts or shorts. Here's an instance where leggings would be perfect.

The infamous stylist Rachel Zoe. Tights sometimes remind me of being a little girl. I might have gone with a fishnet stocking but I'm no stylist.

See what I mean? Her again!

The first look at the film version of Bushie and Laura. I'm not sure if I'm going to see this film. What's the genre of the movie; fantasy, horror or science fiction?

I've looked but can't find anything wrong with Eva Mendes's outfit.

Demi and her daughter Talullah. All her girls look like variations of Bruce Willis.

Let's see what Cindy Crawford has done to her face because you know she's not au natural. Botox definitely in the forehead. Wrinkle fillers around the eyes and mouth. Lip injections. Microdermabrasion. I don't think she's succumbed to a full on face lift but undergoes a regularly scheduled maintenance. Like my car.

Thank you Carmen Electra, for your proper use of leggings. See, this is how you do it. Under a short skirt. I would wear this outfit with my Amy Winehouse beehive wig.

Speaking of wigs, Britney's hair is one mess. Not a hot mess, just a mess. First rule of being a celebrity, never ever be seen in the same outfit twice. We've seen this top before, I recognize the frap stains. And the hair! A ball of yarn has better strands. Someone better intervene before the weave becomes unraveled.

Little Ali Lohan and her sausage curls. I was not allowed to wear makeup until I was 16. Ali's Mother of the Year is very permissive to let her out of the house with all that lipliner.

Let's talk about Feet

I'll be honest, I notice people's feet. And nothing is more disgusting than a dirty foot with overgrown toenails and rough heels. I'm obsessive about the condition of my feet. I scrub and use lotions and trim the cuticles and use the nail file and paint my toe nails so that they look pretty in sandals. There is no excuse for yucky feet, especially when there is this Earth Therapeutics Pedicure to Go kit. It contains a cuticle pusher, cuticle trimmer, nail clipper and nail file. Basically everything you need to keep your toenails looking presentable.

I seriously hope she used a foot wipe before sticking it in her mouth!

This Clean and Cool Foot Wipes should be tucked into your bag for everyday use. When your feet get tired and sweaty, wipe these out and revive your tired toes. In the summer when I wear sandals, even if my feet are pristine to start with, they end up dirty. And if I am doing a lot of walking or standing my feet get swollen and uncomfortable. Nothing helps but the combination of tea tree oil and mint. How refreshing! Very portable, these are great for kids too.
Earth Therapeutics has a ton of products available which are all very affordable. A gift I like to give is a basket full of spa items like the ones here. Who doesn't love this kind of stuff? And personally, with all I am going through at this moment, I think I need all of the products on this page!

June Jacobs

Top Notes-bergamot, cedarwood, incense.
Mid Notes- jasmine, cinnamon, clove, vetiver
Dry Notes- sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin, tonka
June Jacobs Better Love Naturel exceeded my expectations. This intoxicating scent will suit every woman from the outdoorsy nature girl to the business woman in the city. I listed the notes above and combined together on my skin, the dry down reminds me of a light musk. This is a pretty scent and one of the things I like most is that it doesn't dissolve, you can still detect the fragrance hours after application.

If you don't like a heavy, sweet scent, you need to test this one. And if you aren't familiar with June Jacobs let me explain that her line of spa products are super high end and wonderful. I've used a few products from her line and am always thrilled and satisfied with the natural ingredients and optimal results. The hand cream with an SPF is another must!<br>

What's new, Bobbi Brown?

Last minute Mother's Day gift, right here! Who wouldn't love these pocket sized glosses? They smell and taste like mint essence offering lots of shine with sheer, soft color. The Mini Tube Tint Set features four colors- Clear (high shine with glitter), Peony (pink), Posey (pale with shimmer), and Berry (darker pink with glitter). These are not only super portable but can be worn alone or over lipstick or blended together.

This is the Bobbi Brown Sand Bar. Cool, huh? One side is a creamy soap and the other is a sandy exfoliant. It smells divine, like a day on the beach. I hear walking in sand is a great way to smooth your feet. If you don't have access to a beach, I suggest trying this. Did I mention how amazing it smells? Its a limited edition product so hurry!

I slather, yes slather this on my body after a shower. When I applied it a few nights ago, my daughter commented that something smelled like the beach. I wouldn't even know what you would mix together to get a beach smell. How does one replicate such scent? It's salt air and briny ocean water, a subtle suntan lotion aroma and sunshine, bottled by Bobbi Brown for us. The Body Oil isn't super oily- it dries quickly without leaving you feeling slippery.

Scary picture of the day, Star Jones. If we had audio, I believe she'd be braying like a donkey.

You know Subway has five dollar footlong subs now. Diane Kruger needs to eat about ten of them.

I thought her red hair was natural but with the sun hitting it like that, I believe Marcia Cross cheats a little and gets her red locks touched up.

That shoe looks a little big for Suri, no? The bottle has to go. I'm no pediatrician but shouldn't she be on a sippy cup now? I think one year is the cut off for bottles. Xenu says its time for a big girl cup.

This photo of Lindsay "leggings" Lohan reminds me so much of highschool gym class and being picked last for any and all teams. Always next to last to be chosen, I was terribly uncoordinated, all elbows and knees.

Hair bleached? check. Tips frosted? check. Eyebrows lightened? check. Foundation applied? check. Just a dab of rouge? Yup. Clay Aiken proves he's the most manly of men as he hawks his new CD.

I think Heidi Klum is usually gorgeous but her face looks skeletal here! You have to believe me, eating is actually good for you! Skinny faces age more than full ones.

Here's Cindy Crawford. She's probably running to the grocery store looking like that.

When is Britney going to ditch the weave and go au natural? I bet her hair looks like Lynette's on Desperate Housewives now. Patchy and thin.

We's havin' a baby showir y'all!

You can totally tell this is not a group of Hollywood dwelling teens. If this was in LA, the baby shower wouldn't be catered by BJ's BBQ and the females would not be dressed in clothes from 1995. You'd think Zoe 101 could afford something a little more lavish and modern. Then again, they's country!
So crazy! This is exactly what I'm wearing today. My children love it when I show up at school dressed like Amy Winehouse. Her stomach reminds me of those poor hungry Ethiopian babies with distended tummies.

Baby Olive with mom Isla on the set of the Shopaholic movie. Look at those baby feet and kissable chubby arms! Don't you love babies?

Okay these shoes aren't nearly as bad as the other ones Gwyn's been wearing. I love the black toe nail polish.

Costume Institute Gala, Daily Dollface Special Edition

Kristin Davis, sweet and pretty. Nothing shocking here, she always looks nicely put together.

I don't know about this. I love Mischa's hair but am not crazy about the dress.

Did you think Jennifer Lopez would skip a big event to stay home with her babies? Of course not! Naturally she's got the bling dripping from her ears, wrists, neckline and purse.

If I was able to attend the Costume Institute Gala, I would chose a dress like this one. I'd layer some bejeweled necklaces, style my hair in a wild array of curls and wear flat sandals. A girl can dream.

Kate Moss is so gorgeous, she knows what to wear at these events, great dress. And Stella McCartney is wearing something vegan and hemp.

If Victoria Beckham knew how that sourpuss expression aged her, I bet she'd smile more. And if you didn't know her, you'd guess she was a fifty- year -old high society matron who disapproves of everyone.

Is this whats meant by a "hot mess"? MK Olsen's shoulders are hunched, her makeup is ghostly, her hair, what's with her hair? The dress is ill fitting. What up little billionaire? Her sister Ashley looks all right by comparison. At least her hair is combed.

Katie's blue shoes sticking out from the hem of her red dress reminds me of the witch being crushed by the house in the Wizard of Oz, all that showed were the ruby shoes. In this case, the sapphire shoes. Instead of a Wicked Witch there's Xenu. Tom is like a little elf in a tux.

I understand where Kate Bosworth is coming from what, with her bright eyeshadow (no doubt MAC!) and the funky dress. She wants to look a little different, funky and out of the ordinary which is all cool. But. The shoes don't work for me. If that dress is beaded, it must be heavvvvy.
Oh, like a Lite Brite!

Uh oh, who hit the spray tan booth? A mystic tan for Mr. Armani! Julia Roberts can clean up nicely. She goes from wearing Clarks and baggy pants and a knitted sweater to a gorgeous gown looking all glowy and soft.

Oh honey, no. Jennifer Connelly is gorgeous with the black hair and green eyes, slim figure. She has so much going for her. Why chose an ugly dress that looks like a starched linen napkin up top?

Body image issues? I think not. Gisele lets her boobs out front, center and sides for the night. It takes a very confident woman to wear this. I couldn't and wouldn't. And you wouldn't want me to.

On someone else this dress wouldn't work. But on Dita VonTeese, she looks terrific.

Beyonce's soft pink dress compliments her skin beautifully. Everyone is whispering that she's got a baby bump. I don't know....can't a girl eat some carbs?

Anna Wintour's gown is a cross between a costume from Battlefield Earth and a silver plated armadillo. Ugly!

Hamadi Shea Products for Hair

It's true, I heat style my hair every single day, singeing the strands until they are extra crispy and beaten into submission. Hot rollers to smooth the frizz, curling iron to add intentionally placed curls and a flat iron to smooth down an annoying cowlick. You can only imagine the shape my hair is in.

Here's some help for those of us who abuse our hair for the sake of a nice coif. Hamadi's products contain delicious ingredients. The Shea Hair Mask is ideal for my situation. This contains avocado oil, aloe vera, verbena, lemongrass and nothing harsh not even a drop of perfume. This is a product that stays in the shower, out on the little ledge where I can easily grab it and apply to the sad, split ends of my hair.

The Shea Leave In is what you fellow curly haired divas need. When I go natural, meaning I don't use the curling iron or hot rollers, I use this. I apply it sparingly, scrunching it in all over my head. This fights the frizz big time and leaves the curls looking smoother and more defined. It contains essential oils of lemongrass, verbena, ylang ylang and lavender.

Naturally Clean with Shaklee

When Oprah Winfrey herself raves about something, you know it's going to be fantastic. Usually. I mean, did you see Vanilla Sky? But with her high praise for Shaklee cleaning products Oprah was right on target. I got the chance to test the Get Clean All Purpose Cleaner and I cannot say enough good things about it. It comes concentrated in a bottle and all you do is pour out just a pinch into a clean spray bottle, add water and there you go. You will have more than enough for months of cleaning from that single bottle. You can use it to clean bathrooms and mop floors and everywhere else you need to clean.

Get Clean is wonderful. When I first used it, I didn't think it would do much. I'll be honest with you, my expectations were a little low even with Oprah's endorsement. But now that I've been using it regularly,I love it. The fact that its very natural and contains no harsh chemicals is enormous. With kids and dogs, why would I want to pollute my house. Its a no-brainer. I can go without rubber gloves and not worry that my hands are going to peel from the cleaning solution. Another product I love is the Organic Cleaning Wipes. I keep these in the kitchen because I like my cooking space to be 100% clean and sanitized. Again, no harsh chemicals and they work. And of course the wipes are very convenient.

I can't wait to try everything else in this line of gentle cleaning items. You can order a starter kit here. If your family is prone to allergies, this is a great place to start eliminating chemicals from your home.

Tara Reid looks sober and cute and clean! I love the purse and have been searching for a similar one.

Here's another outfit I would wear, Nicole Richie looks casual and I'm a big fan of hats. My only gripe is the extra long pants. When you wear them long like that, they end up so disgustingly filthy on the bottom.

I know. At first glance, you shudder and think that's gross. But I want to thank Mischa Barton for exposing her thighs. I struggle with those pockets of cellulite and am soooo self conscious about it. But if Mischa can go outside in a bikini, than we (those of us who have dimply thighs) can too. Embrace the jiggle.

With all the warnings of skin cancer and premature aging, you would think Jennifer Aniston might sit in the shade with a big hat. Maybe she has her dermatologist on speed dial for shots of Botox, Juvaderm and tubes of Retin A to reverse the sun damage. She always looks lovely so I guess she's doing something right. I'll keep applying the sunscreen spf 50 though.

I applaud Jennifer Hudson's decision to wear a less than flattering outfit because you know, we aren't all size 2, 4 or 6 or even 8. But you know my beef with the leggings. LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS.

When you get dressed, you need to think of the scale of each item you wear. Like, you don't want to wear all enormous clothing and huge accessories. If you wear a long caftan, maybe balance it out with a small purse and strappy sandals. Jessica Simpson looks like she was playing in Mrs. Roper's closet. But I do like the bag.

I've always thought Eva Mendes was so pretty, she's different from every other Hollywood starlet. Here she reminds me of a young and exotic Sophia Loren.

The good news: Emile Hirsch is so fantastic in the film Into The Wild. The bad news: he should perhaps rethink the nautically inspired ensemble for the red carpet event. He's attending a premiere, not boarding a boat. Ahoy!
See, this is how you work the red carpet. Christina Ricci looks fantastic! Love the dress and the shoes.

I hate to be so critical but when you're a celebrity and have loads of money to hire a stylist, well then, there's no excuse. For regular people like me and maybe you, we can mess up and wear weird and uncoordinated clothes. Demi Moore should have either worn longer pants, or folded a bigger cuff on the jeans. It just looks like she's wearing short pants. And that's not good. Her friend wears leggings the correct way, under a skirt.

These two are as visible as Gwyneth Paltrow and her parade of ugly shoes.
Ashton and Cameron
make the press rounds for their movie. His pants and shoes...no. Her shoes are weird but they probably cost more than my yearly clothing allowance.

Remind me again why they are famous. Heidi and Spencer are always up in my face. Whether she's "modeling" or singing or designing a clothing line, she's everywhere. I understand wanting to be famous, I do. But choose a single career path and do it well. As for Spencer, he looks like he should be sitting on a porch swing sipping Country Time lemonade.

Essie for summer 2008

If you think the above colors are pretty on the screen, wait until you see them in real life. I'm thinking tropical flowers and exotic locations. These colors are stunning and I can't wait to try each of them. I was searching high and low for a good coral-red shade and Risky Business delivers. It's not a bright red, it's not exactly a coral- it's the perfect in between shade.

I've become a real Essie devotee, this brand is fabulous. I know a lot of the nail salons use Essie because of the long lasting color and the texture, the quick dry and the many colors to chose from.

I think this palette will be my summer nail color staple. My Place or Yours, Guilty Pleasures, Movers and Shakers: these will be on my fingertips. I always like a lighter color on my fingernails. Toes will receive a couple coats of Risky Business, Secret Stash and Escapades.

I give nails time to breathe after I've had polish on for about a week. I scrub my nails very well, use a heavy duty exfoliant, then a generous amount of lotion or cream wearing socks or gloves to keep in the moisture. The next day, I cut and file, push back cuticles, apply the top coat and take it from there. When I don't follow these steps my nails do not turn out well. I almost always have my toenails painted in the summer because I wear flip flops and sandals all the time.

You can view more Essie colors here and tips and tricks from the professional here.

ThermaClear

When the teen years come to an end, so should pimples. Once you are an adult, those nasty zits and the deep acne should be a thing of the past. Alas, even when you are in your twenties, thirties, the occasional pimple will pop up at the most inopportune times.
I got the offer to test out ThermaClear for a month and jumped on the chance. In those four weeks, I only (thankfully) had a few pimples usually after drinking wine, eating chocolate or indulging in French fries. I can't get away with anything! I used this nifty gizmo and my pimple did heal in a shorter time than usual. It helped that I didnt try to pick or pop the zits. I let ThermaClear do its thing.

ThermaClear is very simple to use. You turn it on, wait for the red light then hold the top on the pimple and press the round button. A blast of heat shoots out. This scared me the first few times I used it. Actually, it always shocks me even through I know what's coming. It doesn't hurt or leave any marks on your skin and it's over within seconds.

How exactly does it work?

"FDA cleared device generates a quick heat pulse that neutralizes the bacteria and starts the healing process."

It's very easy, doesn't take up a lot of space, and boy, do I wish I could keep this fantastic little product. Unfortunately I have to send it back which makes me weep salty tears. ThermaClear is being raved about in magazines, websites, television shows. If you suffer from pesky pimples, this is worth your investment.

I was sad to see Brooke go if for no other reason that people tell me I look like her, ha ha I think Jason should have been sent packing, he doesn't seem very passionate about winning. I bet his dreadlocks smell. David Cook continues to impress me, David Archuleta, eh- I imagine him on the Disney channel with his own show. Sayesha has the best legs and besides that, I am certain she will be a Broadway star with that big voice and her natural beauty. I still say David Cook for the win!

Don't you hate it when you've had too much to drink and you need help walking? The next day you're sure to be completely hungover. Here's Christina and husband Jordan but who's home with baby Max? Hey, she knows her priorities, at least the red lipstick is firmly in place.

Pete and Ashlee- they are in People's Most Beautiful issue this week. In it, we learn Pete does the Japanese thermal straightening technique on his hair and sleeps with a hat on to keep it straight. Awesome!

I can't help it, everytime I see photos of "TomKat" I cringe. WHY, Katie? I still think their marriage is some kind of Xenu ordained union and not true love.

I don't know what's most frightening- Naomi Campbell with a bat, the bright crimson tights or the high heeled sneakers which are so super ugly.

Heidi Klumschnitzel debuts her new jeans line at Bloomingdales. Don't you think the identical mannequins are funny? I wouldn't want to see clones of myself ever! The shirts look like maternity tops.

Jessica Biel without makeup. It must be a real pain to have photographers take your picture at the worst moments. But then you earn a million dollars for a few months work and its all okay.
Not to mention getting to date Justin Timberlake, not bad.

Emmy Rossum looks adorable in that red dress. Ahhh, to be young, skinny and rich!

I'm pretty close to being sick of seeing Gwyneth Paltrow everywhere I turn. And I'm definitely tired of typing her name, I always spell it wrong and have to go back and switch the Y and the E. You would most likely never catch me wearing a camel toe inducing pantsuit.

I still think of Dakota Fanning as a toothless six year old but here she is most certainly a teenager, a girl who is growing up nicely. Dakota, don't pull a Miley Cyrus! Be a nice girl and stay away from posting skanky photos on myspace.

When I venture to Las Vegas soon, I'm going to see this movie. Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher make a great comedic team, or so it looks like from the film trailers.

The royal family in France. Plus there's The Edge from U2. What do you think they sit around and talk about over their gourmet sandwiches? Baby names, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan on Ugly Betty? Or world peace, how we can save the environment, and global warming?

What a coincidence! I'm wearing the same exact outfit and wig combo! Its like looking in a crack hazed mirror.

The swirly on Jessica Alba's dress reminds me of those chocolate Hostess cupcakes.

Brand Review: RoC

Whats better than a wrinkle fighting lotion with a Spf 30? The higher the Spf, the better in my opinion. RoC Deep Wrinkle contains a combination of pure Retinol which I've read is one of the best anti-aging ingredients ever and sun protection. If it can magically erase my deep forehead wrinkle or these ridiculous laugh lines, then I will use it every day. I'll eat it if I have to! I apply this cream at night even though its a day cream, alternating this with a Retinol cream I have. This product will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Because I have been diligent about using sunscreen, my skin looks good. I really like the RoC products I've tested because they don't clog pores, the lotions don't feel heavy on my skin, there is no scent and I'll be honest, the fact these contain Retinols is a huge attraction. As with all skincare products, there is no magic cure for fine lines, wrinkles and those naturally occurring facial changes that come with age. You have to give your products time to work which I often don't because I'm reviewing many different skincare brands. I see potential with RoC. You can this brand easily online or at your local CVS or RiteAid. Its very accessible and affordable. Click here for the RoC website.

The Retinol Correction Eye Cream from RoC has been my eye care staple since I got it. I do see a reduction in my fine lines when I apply this cream. I like it so far, no complaints here. It doesn't bother my eyes. Some products make my eyes tear up to the point where I have to wash my eyes off. This products does not contain any irritants. I actually apply this a few times a day whenever I glance in the mirror and notice my eye area looks dry. I'm a bit obsessive about eye cream lately.

I keep these Microdermabrasion Cleansing Disks within easy reach of the shower. Every night, I remove my eye makeup and use on of these to clean my skin. The little disks do two things, one side exfoliates with tiny, gentle crystals while the other side conditions skin and delivers a light, skin- softening moisturizer.

These are so easy to use. You slip your fingers into the pocket of the disk and wipe away the day's makeup, oil and grime. I feel like I'm really cleaning my face with the exfoliating side. The softer, quilted side finishes off my routine, buffing the skin on my face. The cleansing disks boast the ability to turn the clock back ten years! I don't know about that claim just yet but I do love using these and feel like my face is getting a good cleaning. My skin looks good with nice tone and radiance. Two thumbs up!
